Warner Edwards Victoria's Rhubarb Gin

The Warner Edwards distillers in Northamptonshire have brought us another flavour of excellent gin. This time, they’ve gone all regal and created Victoria’s Rhubarb Gin, which uses a variety of rhubarb originally grown in Queen Victoria’s garden, hence the name, as well as their Harrington Dry Gin. They also add just enough sugar to balance out the acidity from the rhubarb, producing a spirit with plenty of sweetness and some subtle, enjoyably sour notes emanate from the rhubarb.

Da Mhile Seaweed Gin

From the Welsh Dà Mhìle Distillery comes Seaweed Gin, which is made with a variation on their small batch gin, and then infused with seaweed from the Newquay coast for three weeks to impart a coastal character (and also imparts a very subtly green hue). Before it’s bottled, Dà Mhìle Seaweed Gin is triple filtered. It was designed to compliment seafood, which is rather interesting, so crack out the oysters!

Bathtub Gin

An extraordinary award-winning gin from Ableforth’s. Made using the traditional method of Cold Compounding (or in layman’s terms – infusing). Very high quality copper pot-still spirit is infused with ingredients including Juniper, Orange Peel, Coriander, Cinnamon, Cloves and Cardamom, with the length of the compounding period controlled entirely by periodic sampling.
